Phormium 'Fat Jack' is a tree guys selected form of the nz flax

Bold evergreen New Zealand flax cultivar known for its broad weeping form leaves unlike tenex, lower growning larger leaved flax. Its rich green foliage creates a lush, tropical appearance while remaining extremely hardy and low maintenance. Ideal for feature planting, screening, coastal gardens, and large landscape designs, it tolerates wind, frost, drought, and a wide range of soil conditions once established. During summer, tall flower spikes may appear, attracting birds and pollinators. It grows best in full sun and adds year-round structure, texture, and impact to both native and contemporary gardens
