Libertia ixioides (commonly known as “tricolour libertia”) is a clump-forming evergreen, hardy New Zealand native, iris-like perennial with upright, strap-like foliage that displays green, cream, and bronze tones, forming clumps typically around 40–60 cm tall, and it produces small white star-shaped flowers in spring followed by orange seed capsules, making it popular for borders, mass planting, and modern landscapes due to its striking foliage colour and low-maintenance nature.
