Dianella 'Little Jess' is a compact variety of flax lily that produces spikes of delicate blue flowers in spring above lush, mid-green, strappy leaves, followed by small blue berries, and typically grows to about 40 cm tall and wide, thriving in full sun or partial shade where it is often used in borders, cottage gardens, mixed plantings, or mass-planted as a ground cover or on banks.
